Project Manager

For an important Client Company worldwide operating automotive supplier, Adecco is looking for a Project Manager for an important business unit / wire harnesses products.
Project manager reports to Head of program management.

Responsabilità:

Activities:

Steers projects covering the entire product life cycle:
- Defines sub-projects, scope and objective of the project based on the requirements of sponsor and customer;
- Creates, develops and controls a detailed work plan and a schedule for project completion;
-Ensures that the project's deliverables are reached in time, to the required quality standards and in the planned budget (QCD: Quality Cost Delivery);
- Determines, allocates and controls the resources (time, money, equipment, man power etc.) required to complete the project;

Coordinates Project Team:
- Leads Project Management Team (PMT) members;
- Assigns challenging but achievable work packages to PMT members and sub-project managers and measures their performance against goals;
-Ensures quick, open and clear information flow between project team members and to the stakeholders of the project (develops and implements a communication plan);

Tracks and reports on project development:
- Monitors and controls the status of the project objectives against plan;
- Identifies the critical path of the project schedule, conducts risk assessment and takes appropriate countermeasures where necessary;
-Holds regular cross-functional team meetings to follow up on tasks and issues and ensures project team follows the Project Management System (GPMS);
- Ensure that the team reports the status according to GPMS requirements;

Ensures project profitability over lifetime:
- Identifies with his team potential financial issues or unprofitable aspects and proposes alternative solutions;
- Involves the key influencers and gets support from the management to increase profitability;

Customer and supplier communication:
- Leads the customer communication strategy;

Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent knowledge;
- Experience of project in automotive industry or at least in industrial area;
- Project manager experience;
- Problem solving skills;
- Project management software;
- Well organized and autonomous;
- Good communication and social skills;
- Team work oriented;
- Fluent in English and Italian.
