For our multinational Company based in Milan we are looking for a Senior Buyer who is part of the wider Product and Supplier Management organization and executes the agreed common EMEA category strategy on a local level. This includes developing and leveraging local supplier relationships within the 7 pillars framework, focusing on the strategic suppliers in first priority, qualifying new suppliers following a request from the sales team or from insight coming from the EMEA team or from an insight came from a supplier. Main objectives include achieving targeted profitable growth, customer acquisition, market share growth and ROI. This is achieved through development and execution of supplier business plans to realize the category strategy.
The Product Plus Manager constitute an important part of the market intelligence of the group category team providing market trends and insights as well as customer needs/insights/feedback. Also part of a virtual regional team to ensure regional alignment and maximization of supplier value extraction supported by procurement and governance

About the role
The Product Plus Manager is responsible for:
Coordination and execution of all activities of research and selection of new suppliers;
Participation in the qualification, evaluation and management of suppliers, in collaboration with Technical and Sales management, in accordance with the procedures and responsibilities assigned by the quality system;
Responsibility for commercial negotiations with product suppliers;
Responsible for the correct entry of master data regarding suppliers and prices, for issuance of Purchase Orders for new products and/or suppliers;
Participation in the drafting of the acquired budget and area reporting;
Participation in the organization and optimization of logistical processes of products;
Participation in managing, supervising and coordinating the activities of the buyer team;
Collaboration with all company functions for the harmonization and homogenization, where necessary, of activities.

Responsabilità:

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree preferably with a technical or economical address
10 years of experience in purchasing roles, preferably in B2B contexts
In-depth knowledge of how specific industries might leverage security solutions
Deep understanding of channel partners and a channel centric go to market approach
Knowledgeable in Complex Solution Sales methodology
Excellent communication skills
Strong relational and teamwork predisposition
Excellent ability to get an internal and external network Competence negotiation.
Excellent technical knowledge of Negotiation and Sales
Fluent knowledge of English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
SAP knowledge and CRM tools
Skills in discussion facilitation, stakeholder management and conflict resolution
